It is undeniable that on many levels 2016 was a series of unfortunate events. Yet, strangely, on a personal level it has been one of the most rewarding years of my life. I finished out my time in London, explored countries I had never been to before (both solo and in the company of good friends), and completed my undergraduate studies. In doing so, I’ve learned so much not just about myself, but also about the world through these experiences and people who have befriended, guided, and encouraged me along the way. My only wish is that 2017 brings me at least half the joy I experienced in 2016, if not more. Here’s to continued growth, strengthened friendships, more adventures, and genuine kindness/acceptance/love in the world. Happy New Year, and bring on 2017!
P.S. In the spirit of “resolutions”, here’s to hoping I get more content up as well. Without any trips planned as of now, I hope this blog can shift into a place for people to come and get travel recommendations. For now, stay tuned for posts on:
